Firey Potato Wedges
Crisp spicy potato wedges suitable for dipping and finger food, aswell as main meals
Potatoes, Garlic and Lemon
1- Scrub some medium sized potatoes, and remove any blemishes. Cut the potatoes into sections shaped like the segments of an orange.
2- In a large bow, pour several tablespoons of olive oil, add good dash of Tabasco or sweet chilli sauce, a crushed garlic clove, big squeeze of lemon juice, and a good pinch of salt. Whisk them together, then dump in the potato wedges and srir around until everything is coated.
Spread the wedges out on a roasting tin, and put in the top of a hot oven for 30 minutes, until the wedges are brown and crispy looking outside, and soft within.
These can be served with any mayonnaise- based dip, carrot crudités, and some grilled sausages- there are some good vegetarian varieties available if required for just such an occasion!
